The business was started in 2014 after I had been asked to remove an old barn for a neighbour. I couldn’t bring myself to discard their labour after realising that our ancestors had constructed these barns by hand. I observed how the beauty of old growth timber had persisted throughout the ages and at that point, I made the decision to focus all of my efforts on recovering and using old growth timber.

The principles of fine craftsmanship, reverence for the past, and a committed work ethic are the foundation upon which I have established the  company. Only the best timber from centuries-old barns is selected by us to be treated, milled and installed in modern homes. Every project we do is painstakingly crafted to meet the precise requirements and specifications of our clients. We consider the origin and destination of our wood above all else. We exclusively collaborate with companies who share our passion for our timber.
